L.A. Insider
The awards season is officially in full swing here in Los Angeles and this week it’s the GRAMMY’S. Downtown LA was the destination for The GRAMMY and Gibson Foundation’s careers day for budding new talent. Untold music executives such as Jimmy Jam and stars like NE-YO, Eric Benet, and MARY MARY (they had the hit song ‘Shackles’) were both looking VERY glamorous. Their new CD ‘The Sound’ is brilliant and if you’re into up tempo soul and gospel music then this is the CD for the first quarter of 2009. Rihanna was due to make an appearance but she didn’t show up (I think she overslept as it was an early start). See the full list of winners for 2009 this Sunday www.grammy.com
In other news, while Obama works out how much money to pump into the US economy, we the people need not fear, for good bargains are here! I always like to keep my lady friends happy so I was combing the LA pavement (AKA sidewalk) for stylish clothes that would make shopping in Asia seem expensive and I came across ‘Sienna Rose’. Beautiful delicate prints are her signature and each piece is like a work of art. Her tissue weight t-shirts are perfect for jet-setters and for the limited edition junkies here’s your new fix. Each piece of Sienna Rose is different due to a unique printing process which means no two items are the same. Tops and dresses cost between $60 – $150 and stocked at www.bloomingdales.com or visit www.siennarose.com for full collection and stockist.
