Everyone in fashion has their own opinion of Anna Wintour, and she has been called a lot of things over the years, including ‘Darthvader in a frock.’ But is she really like Miranda Priestly, the character from The Devil Wears Prada? In her 60 Minutes with Morley Safer, she addresses some of the rumours surrounding her so-called odd behaviour - like the constant indoor sunglass wearing - which she claims is to mask her emotions, including when “she’s bored out of her mind”.

She tries not to be a bitch, but does demand excellence and hates mediocrity, and the rumours about her ruling her staff with an iron fist, “completely exaggerated.” “I have so many people here…that have worked with me for 15, 20 years…If I’m such a bitch, they must really be a glutton for punishment because they’re still here,” she tells Morley. You’ve got to give it to her, she has a point…
