Twiggy has been named as a spokeswoman for Olay Definity, nearly 25 years after she first lent her face to the brand.

The Sixties icon will begin appearing in print ads for Olay Definity Eye Illuminator this month.

Twiggy promotes herself as a staunch animal welfare/anti vivisection campaigner yet has agreed to be the face of a company owned by Proctor & Gamble, well known for their cruel and unnecessary animal experiments. Says a lot for her ethics.

What a hypocrite Twiggy is. On the one hand she signs up to the Uncaged campaign to boycott Procter & Gamble (makers of Olay) due to their use of animal testing for their products, and on on the other hand she then accepts money from Procter & Gamble to become their ‘Face of Olay’.
