If you’ve been tuning in to Paul Merrett and Allegra McEvedy’s TV show, Economy Gastronomy, you’ll know that you don’t need the budget of a sausage baron to throw together some gorgeous grub.

What you might not know, however, is that Paul has his own Gastropub, The Victoria, located alongside Richmond Park, London, serving up a menu with ingredients sourced from the finest British suppliers. For late summer foodies, there is an alfresco dining area, while in-doorsy folk can sink into sumptuous leather sofas, and pick from the impressive wine list created exclusively for The Victoria by Saturday Kitchen favourite, Olly Smith.

From a quick snack to the full portion, wine by the glass or beer by the barrel, we’re convinced that this celebrity chef knows his onions.
