Lindsay Lohan for Ungaro

Lindsay Lohan’s first foray in fashion took a bit of a nose dive yesterday at Paris Fashion Week. Lindsay debuted her first collection as artistic director of Emanuel Ungaro. So what went wrong? For starters Lindsay kept everyone waiting for 45 minutes and there was a bit of a paparazzi scrum as the doors opened. The CEO of Ungaro, Mounir Moufarrige appointed Lindsay in hope that she would inject some youthful, Hollywood edge to the label. Sadly this was not the case.

There were clashing hues of hot pink and orange, eighties inspired party dresses (complete with fur stoles) and hearts on almost everything including bandeau bra tops and short print skirts. The fashion pack were not amused, in fact she came out to a very lukewarm reception, if it was rapturous applause she was after she sure didn’t get it!

Oh dear perhaps Lindsay should just stick to her day job. Can anyone remember what her day job actually was?
