George with Elisabetta Canalis

The stars have flocked to London for The Times BFI London Film Festival that kicked off in Leicester Square last night. The festival is the UK’s largest film event screening just over 300 films from 60 countries. The festival this year runs from October 14-29.

One of the most notable appearances on the red carpet was George Clooney, attending the Fantastic Mr. Fox Premiere with his girlfriend, Italian model and presenter Elisabetta Canalis. Reports have shown that the two are getting serious with their relationship. Has George Clooney finally found a keeper? We hear he’s moved her into his Studio City home in California and sources say he has even bought her a ring…. for which finger we don’t know.

He’s even started to think about kids. At the press conference for Fantastic Mr. Fox when asked the usual questions about his love life Clooney replied, “I’m going to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids. I owe him a few.” With two more movies yet to premiere, The Men Who Stare At Goats and Up in the Air, Clooney is a busy man.

Also at the premiere were Bill Murray, Wes Anderson, Jason Schwartzman, Cindy Crawford, Jonathan Ross, and Thandie Newton. Sophie Dahl, the granddaughter of the late Fantastic Mr. Fox author Roald Dahl, donned the red carpet wearing flat shoes, but still towered over her fiancé, musician Jamie Cullum.
