Manolo Blahnik Hates Celebrities
Oh dear, what’s eating Mr Manolo Blahnik? The legendary shoe designer really let us know how he feels about celebrities by admitting he hates them. “I hate celebrities,” he said. “All those pointless girls – I won’t name names, but you know who I mean. They are ‘famous’. Ridiculous. I like women with style: actresses like Uma Thurman, icons like Audrey Hepburn. I like women with style to wear my shoes,” he said.
Oh but wait, was it not a Miss Carrie Bradshaw that put Mr Manolo Blahnik on the shoe map? There was also the issue of those ‘stupid satin shoes’ as Blahnik called them that actually saved his company from going under.
The phrase, ‘never bite the hand that feeds you’ springs to mind.
Sure, you have a right to think what you want, but maybe you’d be best to keep it to yourself 99.9% of the time!… Act how you see fit, but watch your words.
