Light Up

The Noisettes

The Noisettes

We all know that the festive season officially starts when the Christmas lights are flicked on and next week sees the big London light switch on…has it really been a year already? This year Oxford and Regent Street have pulled out all the stops, not only with the ‘A Christmas Carol’ theme, but also the queue of A-listers they have to get the party started.

This year we hear Regent Street will be cranking it up a notch with music from The Noisettes and Daniel Merriweather, with Jodie Prenger from the musical Oliver and London Community Gospel Choir stopping by for a sing along. But wait for it, we’ve saved the best until last, yes Mr Darcy himself Colin Firth will be on hand to flick the switch and light up Regent Street.  Or mosey on over to Oxford where you can catch up with The Saturdays, Taio Cruz and the cast of Sister Act, while you rub shoulders with funny man Jim Carrey. Finally finish up at St Paul’s Cathedral where Bob Hoskins will do the honours.

Get yourself down to Regent Street on November 3rd and be part of the party, we suggest you get there early if you want to beat the crowds, starting from 5pm onwards.
