Lady Gaga vs Christina Aguilera

It’s no secret Christina Aguilera hasn’t been Lady GaGa’s biggest fan in the past, however with her new album impending, it seems she wants to clear the air.

In an interview with Out Magazine she spoke about GaGa chuckling: ‘Oh, the newcomer? I think she’s really funny to look at.”

But it didn’t stop there! In 2008 she was then reported saying “I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman.”

We’ve got the picture. However, the pop hierarchies have obviously changed since then as Chrissy has now issued a statement about their competition (probably in fear of any further backlash against her new album ‘Bionic’)…

“I have absolutely nothing against Lady Gaga or any other female artist in this business. I think she is great, and I appreciate any woman fearless enough to go against the norm. She has earned her success with hard work and a clear focus and I have nothing but respect for that. There is room for all of us on everyone’s iPods…”

To be honest, we believe her. There’s definitely enough room for both of them on our office iPod! Plus… it’s not like we’ve haven’t said the same, GaGa IS funny-looking!!
