Ok, so this film looks like one I’d pay to watch. Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close stars Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, Viola Davis (The Help) and the main character, a young boy named Thomas Horn.
The story, based on a novel of the same name, is all about a nine-year-old amateur inventor, Francophile, and pacifist Oskar Schell (Horn) searches New York City for the lock that matches a mysterious key left behind by his father (Hanks), who died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
We’ve just caught the trailer and it looks like a tear-jerker. Prepare yourself.
Catch it in cinemas from 17th February 2012.
