Atul Kochhar, of Michelin-starred Benares in Mayfair, is bringing his contemporary British Indian cuisine to Soho with the launch of a pop-up restaurant at Meza (100 Wardour Street, London W1F 0TN). From 4th – 28th May 2011.

Atul will be using the Soho restaurant and as a platform to showcase some new and exciting examples of his modern British Indian cuisine.

The menu will offer sharing platters and examples of Indian street food, including Rajasthani crisp okra with harrisa mayonnaise; Goan goat koftas with lavender and peanut honey; Kashmiri style lamb Roganjosh and potato and ginger cakes, Punjabi chickpeas, tamarind.

Atul commented “Doing a pop-up restaurant at Meza is an exciting opportunity.   I have always liked the buzz of Soho and hope we, as Benares Restaurant, will add to its amazing food culture.”
