Welsh Lamb

Welsh Lamb

In celebration of British food fortnight I will be looking at all things foodie and British, funny that. What better way to kick things off than with Welsh lamb. Welsh lamb is a fantastic product that’s so good, it’s been designated with a Protected Geographical Indication, like Parma ham or Parmigiano reggiano, to stop imitation.

For your chance to sample some of this lovely, home grown ingredient, six top London chefs will be cooking six delicious dishes at The Butcher in Leadenhall Market, in The City.  Each week a different chef will cook a dish, using the Welsh Lamb and adding their own distinct twist from around the world.  There will be Indian, French, Italian and British dishes to try and each chef will be on hand to talk about what they have prepared.

It’s going to be a great opportunity to sample a wonderful British ingredient cooked to perfection by a top chef. I am definitely going to be first in the queue for a lamby treat.
