Primrose Bakery Cupcakes

By John Gregory-Smith

Last month the rather delicious Primrose Bakery held a competition to get contestants to design a new cupcake. They received over 100 recipes and have chosen the winner; Annie Curtis’s Maple and Pecan cupcake. The winning cupcake will be on sale at the Primrose Bakery stores all this week.

But there’s a little more. The competition was held to help raise money for the charity Wellbeing of Women. The charity raises money to improve women’s health through research, training and education. £1 of each of Annie’s lovely maple and pecan cupcakes, which are sold this week, will be donated to the charity. So get down, eat cupcakes and do your bit for this good cause.

Maple and Pecan cupcakes will be sold between 2-6th August for £1.95
