Daily Thandie: Food Fancies (Part 1)

For breakfast I eat papaya with lime squeezed over it, and a cup of PG Tips with goat milk. I try and do the 10am Jivamukti yoga class so I don’t eat anything else. If I’m home for lunch I’ll make a chopped raw vegetable salad with whatever’s in the fridge – courgette, carrot, fennel, herbs, avocado, tomatoes, broccoli… always some toasted pine nuts or pumpkin seeds sprinkled on top.

Olive oil, cider vinegar, lemon juice and wholegrain mustard make a delicious dressing and I make heaps because there are always at least 4 or 5 people in the house they not only love my salads, but seem genuinely delighted that something so simple and healthy can taste so good!

For supper something like spelt pasta from my local Queens Park Farmers Market with roasted artichokes from Planet Organic, and some fresh pecorino cheese.
