Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Wish to spend a lovely afternoon tea with your mum on her special day? The Sanderson’s Mad Hatter’s Tea invites guests to “tumble down the rabbit hole” and enjoy the wonderful world of tea in the beautiful Courtyard Garden. Executive Chef at the Sanderson, Peter Lloyd has toyed with the traditional British afternoon tea in the same way that Lewis Carroll played with logic in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, creating an afternoon tea filled with numerous gastronomic adventures.

It bursts with excitement. ‘Eat Me’ Queen of Hearts contains a strawberry and cream mousse and ‘Drink Me’, an enticing looking bottle containing a wonderful potion of apple pie, lemon curd and English toffee, this bizarre concoction will send taste buds hatter crazy with each sip delivering a totally different and contrasting taste experience as you drink through the layers with a straw.

The Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea will continue to evolve, with elements changing seasonally and flavours varying from time to time. Tea is served daily and is priced at £25 per person. Champagne is on offer with the tea at an irresistible price of £9.50 a glass and Prosecco for £6.50 a glass.

Mad Hatter’s Afternoon Tea is available every day from 2.00-5.30pm
