To celebrate the release of Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang, in cinemas on 26th March, Foyles are holding an afternoon for all the family at their Charing Cross Store this Friday.

To get everyone in the mood for the return of Nanny McPhee, a character that has surely helped parenting universally (!), Foyles will be screening the first Nanny McPhee film in The Gallery of Foyles from 4pm with refreshments and entertainment for all the family.

If your children marvel at the wonders of this magically nanny, then take them down to the Charing Cross Foyles store for 4pm, but don’t forget to email and reserve your seats (

The event will surely whet your family’s appetite for the film’s release, which sees McPhee (Emma Thomspon) knock at the door of Mrs. Isabel Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal) to help out as her two children have gone to war against and their spoilt city cousins who have moved into their farm, whilst the father is at war, and refuse to leave. The storyline revolves around Nanny McPhee using every trick in the book (and some) to teach the children five new important lessons in her quest to tame the unruly bunch.
