The Hummingbird Bakery

Soho just got sweeter with its newest addition; The Hummingbird Bakery has landed on Wardour Street. With branches in Notting Hill and South Kensington our favourite bakery opens its doors to a new central London location today.

We popped in for the launch yesterday evening to sample some of the delicious delights which included cocktail inspired cupcakes. Our favourites included Gin and Tonic, Strawberry Daiquiri and Mojito flavour, sadly these aren’t on the menu to buy! We think they should be and may have to start an online petition. The shop was simply brimming with people last night sampling the cakes and champagne, the evening was rounded off with a party at Bungalow 8.

Stop by and indulge in the sweet treats available from their signature cupcakes to cookies and pies, you can even have a bespoke order made up for that special someone. We strongly advise the Red Velvet cupcakes which are a huge hit at Beauty and the Dirt HQ.

The best bit is if you’re after a late night sugar fix the shop is open late, so you can perch up on one of the booths and indulge in a sweet treat.
