Sarah Jessica Parker‘s debut role on cult television show Glee is finally here. Airing tonight in the States, a preview of the season 4 episode has been released for UK audiences, and the episode is expected to turn up online later this week.

SJP is set to appear in multiple episodes as Vogue.com editor Isabelle Klempt, a quirky character who becomes Kurt Hummel’s mentor when he lands an internship at the fashion website. It was previously revealed that Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of American Vogue, worked closely on the wardrobe for Isabelle Klempt to achieve the look of a true Vogue editor. The chosen looks include a very fashion-ed worthy lineup of Prabal Gurung, Altuzarra, Belstaff and Fendi.

Sarah Jessica Parker insists that her new character’s look is “not like Carrie Bradshaw,” her iconic Sex and the City on-screen counterpart. “It’s fashion, but it’s not crazy and eccentric,” says Parker. “We’re doing very strong, simple shifts. It’s sexy, hard, and facilitative.”

In the sneak peak scene below, Glee star Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel, is seen having an interview for the Vogue internship with Parker’s character, Isabelle Wright.

  1. As for the joke yes, it’s old. As for my looks, yes I know I’m a geek, fat, have acne and look a bit awkward. I’m not afaird to admit it either. But I’m a person that loves memes and humor and loves to laugh. You guys can’t tell me you never watched The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park or any other comedy show and laughed when they made fun of a particular person. It’s all fun and games. Lighten up, there’s way too many serious people in this world.
