Beauty And The Dirt

Welcome to Mimi's world, you might never want to leave...

3 Prongs, 3 Products

August 13, 2012

Having featured a flurry of beauty bits from Clarins’ autumn collection last week, we were particularly enamoured with the unusually designed 3-Dot Liner, which, when wiggled into the lash line fills in any sparse areas to give the illusion of a thick, full set of lashes.

But then, just as we thought we were on to something special, awarding it pride of place in our make up bag, another little 3 pronged liner dropped onto our desk. This time, courtesy of Bourjois. The Intuitive Liner, so called because of its foolproof ability to create a line without risk of wobbles or blotches, also has a 3-tipped liquid liner head but boasts an intense black formula and up to 24 hour staying power.

So we thought we’d have a search for more of these wonder tipped tools, and we found the 3 Way Lash Lining Tool by Too Faced. The prongs are ever so slightly firmer, meaning hands have to be that little bit steadier so as not to cause any mishaps, but again, the black liquid liner pigments are strong and true.

Our triple-tipped liner of choice? For depth of colour, staying power and a cash-flow friendly price, it just has to be Bourjois. But whichever you plump for, with all of the graphic eyeliner trends for autumn and winter, this will undoubtedly replace your standard, single tip liner.

Clarins 3-Dot Liner £20

Bourjois Intuitive Liner £6.99

Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool £18
