We’re in the midst of another seasonal change, and whilst we can’t wait to embrace spring and summer with all our hearts, the baffling effect it has on our skin is less than desirable. Think unwarranted blemishes, uneven texture and dryness and oiliness all at the same time. But never fear! Elemental Herbology is ready to arm us with everything we need to beat the seasonal skin blues.

The brand was created by acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner Kristy Cimesa, who has benefitted the beauty market with a luxury British skincare brand that infuses its products with plant oils especially selected for their nourishing and calming properties.

There are two new products on the Elemental Herbology block. First we have the Harmonising Cleanse Facial Cleansing Oil (£29.00) which combines Vitamin C, raspberry seed, camelia flower, grapefruit, geranium oil, argan oil, sweet almond oil and jojoba oil (yes, quite a task force!) to tackle everything from pigmentation, redness, dryness and dullness.

Cue bright, glowing and evenly toned skin! The cleansing oil also contains a patented solution called 5 Alpha Avocuta(R) which is derived from Avocado and helps to control oiliness, whilst being incredibly gentle.

The second product to join the range is the Perfect Balance Facial Moisturiser SPF 12  (£42.00). This contains apple serum, which is rich in vitamin C and stimulates cell turnover, olive squalene to hydrate and nourish, pearl powder to brighten and make skin glow, anti oxidants vitamin A, E and green tea to protect the skin from pollution as well as Liftonin(R), which improves skin tone and elasticity. If there was ever a product that seems to cover all its bases, then this is it.

Their chrome metal-esque exteriors make them look like futuristic tools and capsules, and when it comes to skin technology, they certainly seem to be ahead of the game. We’ll certainly be arming ourselves with them during this skin-sensitising switchover to spring and summer.
