2012 Year Of The Beauty Brand Birthday

While trends may come and go, true beauty performers remain as popular as the day they were launched and this year we celebrate some of the beauty world’s most iconic cult products and brands.


Having pioneered the use of opaque pigments within nail enamel back in 1932, Charles Revson’s long-wearing, colour-rich glossy formulas, remain the blueprint for nail lacquers worldwide over 80 years later. Whilst, the line which included Revlon Red, possibly the most iconic of all nail shades, sparked the trend of creating ‘seasonal’ shades. Estée Lauder’s emblematic Advanced Night Repair Serum, or ANR as it’s fondly nicknamed by industry insiders, is turning 30 this year!
