Beyoncé has just released her brand new music video for her upbeat, booty-shaking song, “Countdown!” Her pregnancy glow may have something to do with it, but Queen B looks absolutely stunning in the video, wearing hair and makeup looks inspired by the swinging 60’s. She channels some of the era’s biggest beauty icons including Audrey Hepburn, Twiggy, The Supremes, and Peggy Moffitt, and looks just as fab in these cool, mod styles.

The music video opens with a close up of the singer, revealing a classic cat eye, false lashes coated liberally with black mascara, black eyeliner under the eyes, and shimmery gold shadow along the inner tear duct. The lips are kept nude with a bit of gloss, and the cheeks are swiped with a rosey colour. At one point, Beyoncé touches her face and flashes us her long, bright orange nails, bringing a pop of colour to this classic, 60’s-style look.

In another shot we see Beyoncé rocking the double winged cat eye with pale, lime green shadow, and another heavy dose of black mascara. Her eyes are lined with black liner underneath, and white liner along the inner rims, and her lips are kept a glossy pink. This look then gives way to another fab choice of coloured liner in every shade of the rainbow. It’s applied in a thick stripe over the eyelids and matches the different coloured, long-sleeved leotards Beyoncé wears for the shot.

B also wears a bit of a smokey eye at one point in the video, and in another wears a glamourous 60’s look of shimmery gold and bronzed eyes with a black cat eye and a pouty nude lip.

The makeup looks are matched with black hair done up in either a high bun or ponytail with different coloured headbands, or kept down and straight. Beyoncé’s bangs in the video channel Audrey Hepburn, and her bowl cut is very Peggy Moffitt. Near the end of the video she wears her hair in a curled bob a la The Supremes, proving that Beyoncé can literally wear anything and look amazing.
