World famous cosmetics company, Elizabeth Arden, celebrated its centennial anniversary in London on 29th June. Elizabeth Arden is widely credited with revolutionizing the beauty industry and setting the standard for modern cosmetics. The first Red Door salon was opened on Fifth Avenue in New York in 1910. The company spread to Europe in 1914 and today there are Red Door Salons in over 100 different countries around the globe.

The anniversary celebration was held at the Elizabeth Arden House in Fitzroy Square. Models Erin O’Connor and Amber Le Bon showed up to the event as well as actresses Natalie Dormer, Jameela Jamil and Holly Valance. Inside, guests found a digital graffiti wall where they could paint personalized birthday wishes to Elizabeth Arden and an extravagant casino room complete with Black Jack and roulette tables.

In addition to last night’s celebration, the company will be releasing limited edition 100 Year Anniversary cosmetic products. The first is an exclusive red lip stick colour, which is inspired the trademark shade that Elizabeth Arden herself provided for suffragettes as a symbol for independence. The second is an Anniversary Vanity Case, which includes a vintage make-up compact and an assortment of the company’s classic skin care products including Eight Hour Skin Protectant and Ultra Restorative Capsules. Visit the House of Fraser Website for prices and additional Elizabeth Arden products.
