The season’s deep red lips, bright clothing with bold prints, baggy pants, and glamour hair-do’s need the corresponding skin colour, a deep maxi-tan. He-Shi has introduced a new member to the award winning self-tan range with the He-Shi Dark Foaming Mousse for Him and Her. Last year we were all splashing on their Express Liquid Tan but now things have got dark and serious in terms of tanning and this dark foam gives a very natural-looking tan with minimum layering to get a deep effect.

Gliding on easily the foam is dark so you can see where you’ve been thus avoiding streaking and nasty white patches and the mousse worked really well even on feet and knees which are notoriously difficult to effectively cover. My skin felt moisturised due to the addition of Glycerine and I really did look like I’d had a weekend on a blazing French beach rather than in the London rain.

For best results it’s recommended that skin is exfoliated using the He-Shi Exfoliating Bodywash and/or Exfoliating Gloves and applying with the He-Shi Mitt as this quick drying formula will stain your hands. One pump is needed for each body part adding more if you really want a deep shade. Each bottle gives enough for six full body applications. You are advised to avoid water and sport for 5-7 hours after use so as not to affect the finished look.

Available from April at selected salons and day spas across the country, House of Fraser stores and at www.he-shi.co.uk at RRP £27.
