Dinner at the CN Tower

Dinner at the CN Tower

After checking into our hotel our first experience of Toronto was a spectacular dinner at the top of the CN Tower at Restaurant, 360.

Despite the recent launched of their new attraction, The Edge Walk we all took the lift to the top floor and decided that taking in one of the most spectacular views in Toronto is far wiser with a glass of wine in your hand and a menu in front of you than wearing a red boiler suit chained to the building. The journey up to the top does still offer thrills, it’s a totally glass lift, so still pretty brave to look out, we faced the metal wall and didn’t mind looking silly.

The revolving restaurant is a very popular attraction so you must book and it’s well worth it, what a view, we got a brilliant idea of where we were and what we had in store for the rest of our trip. With views across to the Islands and the city on a night with a dramatic sunset this is real must for anyone visiting the city. The food was very good too, it was not resting on its laurels of being a tourist attraction, everything was really tasty and we got our first experience of the friendly service and hospitality that we came to expect during our trip. As for that Edge Walk, if you are brave enough here’s the detailsat www.cntower.ca
