Enamoured: 80 Years Of Revlon

1932, a revolutionary year for the fashion, entertainment, and beauty industries. Not only was the iconic Elizabeth Taylor born and the first Venice Film Festival held, but it was also the year Charles Revson founded his pioneering cosmetics brand, Revlon.
In celebration of the iconic brand’s 80th year, this month sees the opening of an exhibition featuring fine art, installations and pieces sourced from the Revlon archives.

Revlon UK Nail Ambassador, Jenny Longworth says, “I am totally excited to be involved in the exhibition. Revlon has such a wonderfully interesting heritage so it’s great that I have the opportunity to be involved in the telling of its story to the rest of the industry and public alike. Revlon has been integral to the nail industry’s evolution in particular, so it is even more special for myself to be involved. I will be creating bespoke nail designs for the event and also a DIY version so people can take a piece of the exhibition home on their fingertips. I am also working on [some of the installations], pushing the boundaries of nails through the medium of art.”

The free exhibition entitled “Enamoured: 80 Years of Revlon” will be housed at the London Film Museum (Covent Garden, 45 Wellington Street, London WC2E 7BN), from 30 November to 2 December.
