Flawless Skin for Balmy Months

It's all about skin this summer!

There are a few things we require from base makeup during balmy months:

1. It needs to be quick to apply.

2. It can’t budge during the day.

3. It needs to look both light and flawless at once!

Well maybe it’s a little too much to ask but two new products from makeup sensation Bobbi Brown deliver exactly this!

Here’s how to get a flawless warm-weather base with Bobbi Brown:

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit

Firstly, you’ll need the new Creamy Concealer Kit (which houses the cult concealer along with a setting powder). Dab a little bit of the concealer beneath your eyes using your ring finger. Keep tapping the concealer outwards so you don’t end up applying too much to the inner corners of your eyes.

Next, set the concealer using a tiny bit of the powder and a fluffy blending brush (like the MAC 224). This will set the conecaler in place as well as preventing it from creasing.

Once your concealer’s in place – it’s time for foundation! We’re not huge fans of powder foundations but they’re definitely the right choice for warm weather – they’re light, easy to apply and keep skin shine-free.

Bobbi Brown’s first powder foundation, the lluminating Finish Powder Compact Foundation SPF 12, provides a light-medium coverage in a creamy, silky powder formula.

You can use the supplied sponge to dab the powder on for medium coverage but we prefer using a fluffy powder brush to dust on a light veil of cover. Enough to cover any uneven bits and give skin a glow.

And that’s it – two steps to complexion perfection this summer!

We’re loving this combo at the moment and highly recommend trying it yourself – the textures are fantastic and the colour range goes all the way from porcelain white to ebony black.
