With a role in last year’s horror hit Carrie, and new release Endless Love out this Valentines Day, Gabriella Wilde’s star status looks set to be on the rise. Of course her screen-worthy looks have never been in question. She was spotted at the tender age of 14 by none other than Naomi Campbell, and quickly made it into the books of her agency Premiere Model Management. Campaigns with the likes of Lacoste, Abercrombie & Fitch and Burberry soon followed, and links to Prince Harry shuttled her to the top of magazine’s ‘most eligible’ lists across the country.

Now a famed English rose, the beauty world has quickly turned its attention to Gabriella Wilde’s fairytale-esque blonde waves picture perfect features. Her go-to makeup look is ‘barely there’ matched with the occasional statement lip.

Wilde-like luminous skin relies on the confidence to forsake coverage. It is easy to cling on to the heavy foundation versions throughout winter. Sun-kissed glows have been and gone, leaving us seemingly dependent on a tonal lift in a bottle. Yet with so many new lighter, skin nourishing products available, we have no excuse not to dare to bare.

This month Bourjois have launched their new 123 Perfect CC Cream (£9.99) and a CC Eye Cream Concealer (£7.99). The 123 Perfect CC Cream Foundation contains three colour correcting pigments that work together to colour correct every complexion problem areas, that seem to appear at their worst in winter. The green pigment counteracts redness, the white pigment decreases any sign of dark spots and the apricot pigment provides a glow that completely awakens skin’s appearance. In addition to all that the cream provides for 24 hour hydration and protects from UV rays with an SPF15. If you thought Olivia Wilde was an all-rounder, try sampling this new beauty wonder!

We are always educated to treat the delicate skin around the eye as an entirely separate entity. It is more sensitive to product, yet equally in need of nourishment and coverage. Bourjois’ CC Eye Cream Concealer conceals, protects, smoothes, brightens and hydrates. It has a felxible silicone tip that allows you to apply it easily without dragging under-eye skin.

The beauty of the new Bourjois foundation is that as a CC Cream, the 123 Perfect CC Cream Foundation it is able to illuminate skin through colour correction as opposed to through added coverage. White tea extract energises skin and nourishes, and each shade has been developed with a touch of pink that visibly brightens winter-worn skin.

Pair with a bold matte lipstick in true Gabriella Wilde style. Take inspiration from the likes of the beauty look at Rag & Bone’s SS14 show.
