Hayden Panettiere

Model, singer, actress and only 20, can you believe it? Hayden Panettiere is best known for her supernatural character Claire Bennet in the hit series Heroes and returns to the big screen as high school hottie Beth Cooper in teen flick, ‘I Love You Beth Cooper.’ (In cinemas now) The story follows Denis Cooverman a total geek (Paul Rust) who proclaims his love for the very beautiful Beth Cooper, to his surprise Beth turns up at his door with surprising consequences.    Hayden is a regular on the red carpet circuit with her sassy style and fresh faced approach to beauty. We asked our resident celeb make-up artist Lindsey Poole to give us a few insider tips on how to recreate Hayden’s fresh faced look, make-up brushes at the ready ladies…

1. Apply a luminising foundation such as Chanel’s Vitalumiere with a foundation brush to the whole of the face making sure you blend down past the jaw line onto neck. This will create a lovely dewy base.

2. Dust T-zone area of face (across forehead down the nose and chin) with a light loose powder to stamp out shine where not wanted, try Diorskin Matte & Luminous Hydrating Loose Powder.

3. Brush brows through with eyebrow gel or a little hair spray on an old clean mascara wand to keep hairs in place.

4. Apply an eyeshadow base such as Urban Decay’s Primer Potion all over eyelids to help the eyeshadow adhere to and to create a longer lasting look.

5. Apply black kohl pencil such as Smoulder by MAC inside the waterline of the eye top lid and bottom lid. If you find it difficult applying to the top under lid then apply extra to the bottom and blink tightly to transfer the colour.

6. Apply extra eyeliner amongst the top lashes in quite a thick line and blend with a smudging brush upwards so the colour starts to cover the eyelid. Do the same underneath the eye smudging the line amongst the lower lashes.

7. Apply a shimmery grey black to the eyelid such as Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow in Fawn. Use a flat brush and press colour up to the socket line. The pressing motion will reduce the fall out of the product. With a smaller brush apply a little underneath the eye.

8. Using a socket brush blend the edges of the shadow in the socket line and slightly above to create a soft smoky edge.

9. Apply a highlighter under the brow and on the inner corner of the eye such as MAC Vanilla.

10. Curl and apply a coat of black mascara top and bottom. Then using twizzers apply a pair of false lashes try the Eylure Girls Aloud Lashes, Nadine’s are my top pick for Hayden’s look. Use by applying a thin coat of glue, start from the outside in, looking down, gently pressing in with the back of the twizzers or a small make-up brush. When dry apply a small line of black eyeliner to cover the join.

11. Apply a shimmery peachy pink blush such as Lustre by Nars to the apples of the cheeks.

12. Finish with a slick of pinky peach lip-gloss such as Lancome Peche Juicy Tube.
