You know when random people tell you that you are looking well, first of all you think they mean you are looking fat. Then they say your skin is looking plump and smooth. Before I had time to swallow the compliment I remembered I had been using a new moisturiser by SK-II. It’s their signature skin cream which was recommended to me after I’d admired someone else’s skin.
It does that glowing from within thing. It boasts a key ingredient of concentrated pitera which is supposed to be a new skin miracle, full of vitamins and minerals and amino acids. This pitera business seems to come in all of their products and its bumf tells me it’s the key thing that helps maintain the skin’s natural renewal cycle.
It does seem to give a juicy glow.
Pitera is derived from the fermentation process of a special yeast used in the creation of that wonderful warming rice drink sake. So no surprise that SK-II comes from Asia, and Cate Blanchett is the only non-Asian SK-II brand ambassador. I can’t wait to try the mask and the serum. All have rave reviews.
