She is renowned for refusing to reveal her age to anyone, and she kept everyone guessing still at the Golden Globes this month as she graced the red carpet, titian hair flowing and pearlescent skin glowing. We are sure Jessica’s unrivalled complexion can be attributed to a whole host of factors. Impeccable diet, sensible water intake, you name it. But the man responsible for her flawless and camera ready make up look on that particular night was make up artist Kristofer Buckle, whose inspiration was ‘iconic structured glamour\ with a ‘dare to glow’ attitutde.

Kristofer used Le Teint Touche Eclat in B10 (£28.00) for Jessica’s base, before adding the Touch Eclat #1 pen (£25.00) to cover any minor imperfections and highlight her eyes. He then used the YSL Ombres 5 Lumieres eye shadows in Tawny (£42.00) to create the beautiful shading that perfectly complimented Jessica’s eye colour. Next followed three coats of YSL’s Singulier Waterproof Black Mascara (£23.00) to her top lashes to really open them up. He left her bottom lashes bare so as to prevent the effect from being too heavy.

Jessica’s lips were stained with YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick in Fuchsia (£25.00) to bring out the natural rosiness of her lips.

In charge of her hairstyle was renowned stylist Oribe. Jessica had asked him for ‘hair off her face and wavy’ quoted the stylist. He blow-dried her hair with the Oribe Grandiose Plumping Mousse (£35.00), which added texture and movement, before adding the Oribe Thick Dry Finishing Spray (£35.00) for volume. Once Jessica’s hair had been blow-dried smooth, he curled sections of her hair around a 2-inch curling iron for soft waves that would hold.

Oribe applied a dry texturising spray and teased the hair up slightly at the crown of the head to give Jessica’s look added lift. He set her hair with Oribe Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray (£37.00), which allows for more movement, keeping the look soft and natural, but off Jessica’s face as she had requested.

We’re betting this was to show off the beautiful vintage Bvlgari diamond necklace that Jessica chose to accessorise with her Givenchy dress.
