Herbal Essences Herbally Ever After

Can it really be true that Herbal Essences are 40 year old?  That means that they’ve been around way longer than the internet, let alone Twitter and blogging and in fact the whole technical revolution. And here they are, more popular than ever before, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone who has used one of their ranges not to simply love it…

Herbal Essences were one of the first ranges to mix up gorgeous scents into shampoo and conditioner and they didn’t stop there, giving us ranges for all types of hair, even dyed. Now they offer scent combinations that wouldn’t be out of place bottled with a spray top; Moroccan Rose and Passionfruit, Wild Cherry and Orchid, Nectarine and Pink Coral flower – all exotic, all heavenly-scented, and they leave your hair soft and silky too.

The original Herbal Essences moment – how can you forget the ‘Yes, Yes, Yes’ campaign – has been happening in bathrooms around the country for the past 40 years. Too young to remember it? Well here it is!

To celebrate their birthday they have released a limited edition ‘Herbally Ever After”  shampoo and conditioner, specially formulated to defend against hair breakage. It contains Royal Jasmine and Silky Sea Palm and comes in distinctive lilac and gold bottles with a 40 year logo. We tried it, and there’s a distinctly fruity fragrance that comes with all the fresh, clean hair cleansing power that you expect from Herbal Essences.

To celebrate their birthday, Herbal Essences are running a rather fabulous competition;

The first prize is a cut and blow-dry with Ben Cooke, Herbal’s celeb stylist at Lockonego Salon in Central London (worth £300)

The second prize is a year’s supply of Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner

The third prize is a Herbal Essences Hamper

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is leave a comment at the end of this post about your first Herbal Essences memory or what you love about it most and all comments (from here and other sites) will go into a draw to find the winners.
