Holiday season is fast approaching and it’s finally party time! Whether you’re going to a girly girlfriend get together, an office party, a fancy dinner, or a fun family outing, we’ve got the perfect makeup and hair looks for every occasion.

Girlfriend Get Together

Dianna Agron dazzles with sparkly eyeshadow

A fun and flirty look for going out with the girls

Going out with your girlfriends is a guaranteed good time, so your hair and makeup should be fun as well. Dianna Agron’s sparkly eyes are festive and flirty, and with nude glossy lips, the focus remains on the eyes. She uses a gray glittery shadow, but any colour glitter would work with this look.Try Make Up For Ever’s Glitters shadows, which come in beautiful bright hues that’ll match any outfit. To take the look up a notch, use one colour on your lids and another beneath the eyes, and wet the eyeshadow brush for a look that’ll stay glittering all night long. For the lips, we like Nars Lip Gloss in Giza, a natural-looking peachy nectar.

Braids can look quite youthful, but pair them with wavy, shiny locks and you get a fun yet sophisticated party look perfect for going out with your girls. Part your hair on the side, gather the front pieces, and plait the hair down the side of the head in a French braid style and pin the end behind your ear. Leave the rest of the hair down and create loose, flowy waves with a 1½-inch curling iron. Don’t worry about making the waves and braid perfect. This look is all about keeping it fun and flirty.

Office Party

Hilary Duff's office-party-appropriate do

Camilla Belle hits all the right notes with this lovely makeup look that’s perfect for any holiday office party. It’s classy, sophisticated, and glamorous all at the same time, making it festive yet office appropriate. To recreate Camilla’s gorgeous berry lip, try Dior Rouge Lipstick in Devilish Pink. Warm up the skin and get your glow on with a bit of champagne highlighter, like Benefit’s Watt’s Up!, applied to the cheekbones, brow bones, and on the inner corners of the eyes. Dust a bit of silvery-gray shadow, like Bobbi Brown’s Rich Colour Eyeshadow in Rich Slate, across your lids, sweeping it out just a little past the eyes. Follow up with a swipe of black liquid liner across the upper lashline of the lid, and plenty of black mascara. Try Lancôme Artliner in Noir and Maybelline Volum’ Express the Falsies mascara in Blackest Black. For the cheeks, Camilla chose a pretty peach blush like Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Rude.

To show off this gorgeous makeup look, sweep hair back into a loose bun or chignon a la Hilary Duff. You’ll get hair that’s office appropriate because it’s put together and neat, with softness and volume that make it party ready.

Fancy Dinner

Camilla Belle's smoldering look

Hayden Panettiere with sexy hair perfect for a fancy dinner

If you’re going to a fancy dinner, opt for smokey, smoldering eyes as seen on Camilla Belle. The eyes should be dark but the circles under them should not, so apply your favorite undereye concealer, like Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer, to prevent looking like a raccoon. Next, line the eyes with M.A.C. Eye Kohl in Smolder, and instead of traditional black, Camilla chose a charcoal gray shadow for her smokey eye look, like M.A.C. Pro Longwear Eyeshadow in Weathered. The deep rose shadow that’s smudged into the creases of the lids gives the look more depth. Try M.A.C. Eye Shadow in Cranberry. Next, dust a light champagne shimmer on the inner corners of the eyes like Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow in Champagne, and finish off the look with plenty of black mascara, a bit of bronzy blush, and nude-coloured lipstick. Try Nars The Multiple in Lamu and Nars Lipstick in Morocco.

What’s sexier than smokey eyes paired with flowing, voluminous locks? Nothing, we say! That’s why we love the hair look seen on Hayden Panettiere. Use a 1-inch curling iron for big, beautiful curls, and then lightly tousle the hair with your fingers for a look that’s soft and sexy.

Family Outing

Blake Lively's got the glow

The holidays are a time to spend with your family, and we think Blake Lively’s fresh, youthful glow is perfect for any family outing. With a sweep of blush and bronzer like M.A.C. Powder Blush in Fleur and Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder, and a bit of highlighter like Skinflash Radiance Booster Pen in Roseglow by Dior, you’ll be warming up the cold, wintery holiday season in no time. Pair your lovely glow with a coat of Rimmel Day 2 Night Waterproof Mascara and Clinique Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Tenderheart.

This fresh and natural-looking makeup looks amazing paired with a cute, clean, and polished ponytail set slightly higher on the back of the head. This look couldn’t be easier to create, which is perfect when you want to spend more time with your family than with your hair. Straighten the hair first and then slick it back and secure with an elastic that matches your haircolour. If you don’t have one of these, just grab a bit of hair from the ponytail and wrap it around the elastic. Secure with a bobby pin.
