One Tree, One Fragrance

Sometimes doing your bit for the environment might sound too much like hard work, but this week, Hugo Fragrances have made saving the planet that little bit easier – well, the Peruvian rainforest anyway.

The fragrance super-brand has commissioned five artists to put pen (or should that be paint-brush) to paper to create their own, unique interpretation of an urban jungle. For each limited edition bottle of Hugo Man and Hugo Element sold, one tree will be planted in the Peruvian rainforest.

Best of all, the special bottles each feature a clever scratch-away panel that allows you to log onto the Hugo website and find the exact location of your tree. Hugo Fragrance’s “One Fragrance, One Tree” campaign will be touring the country until the end of  April – starting in London before heading to other destinations including Birmingham and Sheffield, offering members of the public the chance to paint  a blank tree on a recyclable paper canvas and find out more about the campaign.

The campaign comes to a grand finale on the 15th of April, when the various trees will be displayed in Covent Garden, turning the area into a fabulously chic urban jungle.  So, how about it – save the planet and smell fabulous in the meantime – does it get any better?

The limited edition versions of Huge Element and Hugo Man are available  from Boots now until stocks last.  Find out more at www.hugo.com
