I am loving the radiant effects of Kerstin Florian Brightening Facial Treatment. It’s one of those spa facials in a bottle products. For a start it smells of lemon and orange groves. It instantly seeps into the skin.
It’s a powerful blend of botanicals and Acti-5 Brightening Complex. It works on correcting sun damage and fading dark spots. What it does immediately is inhibit melanin production and delivers a kind of sparkling quality to dull skin.
It’s a perfect after summer treatment. Straight away you notice an evening of the skin tone, but if you keep going with it, any skin patches that are awkward colours – brownish or reddish – seem to blend in.
It aims to decrease future skin pigmentation so you are getting an immediate effect, instant gratification and deferred pleasure later on down the line.
I’ve also found it extremely hydrating. It’s a wonderful serum. One of its key ingredients are the Chinese mushrooms everyone’s talking about. This is supposed to reduce redness and irritation.
Kombuchka pH – black tea ferment – reduces the effects of sugars that affect collagen and skin structure.
Even though I always wear a high SBF, a hat, large glasses and stay out of the sun, I notice that the rays of the summer have definitely had an adverse effect on my skin. It drank in the correcting brightening facial treatment extremely enthusiastically. It’s the kind of serum that makes tired irritated damaged skin look like it’s had a holiday and have people ask, ‘Did you just have a facial?
It is £86 for 30ml. Expensive, but wonderful.
