L’Oréal Professionnel have announced that Kirsten Dunst will be taking on the role as its first global spokesperson this year. She has fronted campaigns such as Bulgari fragrances and Miu Miu lines sin 2008, but this year sees her put her angel-like locks to use in her involvement with the renowned French hair care brand.

If you are anything like me you will have first fallen in love with the American star when she took on the role of Amy in Little Women, but her career began long before then when she signed as a model at only three years old, was managed by the likes of Elite and Ford Models as well as being cast by Woody Allen in his short film Oedipus Wrecks, for her first film role.

L’Oréal Professionnel’s International Managing Director Anne-Laure Lecerf praised Kirsten Dunst’s ‘Great professional and commitment to excellence’, citing her as ‘One of the most talented actresses [she] has ever met’, making her the perfect first global spokesperson for the brand.

Now known for her proficiency in blockbuster roles such as Marie Antoinette, lead actress in the Spiderman films and Melancholia, as well of course as her teen cult classic Bring It On, Kirsten Dunst is a regular on the red carpet and fashion week front rows. Of her new connection with L’Oréal Professionnel she says ‘I feel very close to L’Oréal Professionnel. The brand is strongly connected to fashion, and I admire its commitment to innovation, constantly creating new professional services and products to achieve the most on-trend styles’.

Show us a wonderful Kirsten campaign, must-have styles and the products to achieve them, and we are totally on board.
