Late nights, staring at your screen too long or being just plain tired gives you red, sore eyes. Here are some ways to help you looking bright eyed again; take a look at our quick fix make up tips that will have you looking wide awake at least..
If you make sure your skin looks clear and bright your tired eyes are less noticeable, and there’s no better way to brighten your skin then by giving it a good polish. By exfoliating the skin you’re removing old and dull skin cells which allows younger, healthy cells to show on the surface. This immediately improves the texture and appearance of skin. Use a gentle scrub with tiny grains rather than coarser exfoliants which can be abrasive to the skin. Try the new Clarins Gentle Exfoliator with Tamarind Fruit acids and White Nettle. Tamarind naturally promotes the skin’s natural renewal process leaving it soft and supple. White Nettle also acts as a soothing anti-inflammatory for sensitive skin.
Banish Those Bags
While there are a countless number of eye creams that all promise to banish those eye bags they’re not usually the instant fix you need. A good concealer, however, is an indispensible quick fix weapon. Make-up artist Lizzie Court suggests choosing a concealer that is one to two shades lighter than your skin. “Use as little as possible after applying foundation and only apply to the dark areas by patting into skin, try not to cover your entire under-eye and take extra care not to over-blend as this can make it disappear altogether!” We suggest using the new Diorskin Nude® Skin Perfecting Hydrating Concealer we particularly like its soft and lightweight texture that instantly melts into the skin.
