Organic beauty brand, Melvita, has partnered with French scientist Doctor Elisabeth Devilard to develop what the company has named its “biggest innovation yet.”

The new Melvita Apicosma Range uses a 3-Honey Complex of Thyme, Acacia, and Orange Blossom to correct the causes of dry skin. Melvita’s goal in creating this new range was to discover the cause of nutrient-lacking skin that also has a weakened barrier and a lack of vitality and oxygenation. With Doctor Devilard’s 13-year research on the subject, she and Melvita have created this 3-Honey Complex that “instantly replenishes lost nutrients, thickens the dermal and epidermal layers, and activates angiogenesis,” which is the process of creating new blood vessels. And not only did Melvita want to solve this dry skin problem, they also wanted to prevent it from ever happening again, so they made sure that this new formula would be able to reach beyond the skin’s surface for deep and continual hydration.

Included in the range is the Apicosma Skin Softening Nourishing Body Milk, which is a rich body lotion with hydrating Macadamia Oil, Flower Pollen, and Chestnut extracts. The Apicosma Ultra Nourishing Body Balm is made with Royal Jelly, Cocoa Butter, and the Melvita 3-Honey Complex, surrounding the skin in a lightly fragranced, moisturising veil. The line’s Extra Rich Hand Cream can be applied day and night to give hands instantly soft and supple results, and the Repairing Lip Balm uses natural and organic Argan Oil, Beeswax, and Shea Butter to nourish and protect chapped lips.

We’re definitely needing this for the upcoming winter months, and we love that this line is completely natural and organic. It’s always nice knowing exactly what we’re rubbing into our skin. The line is available at Melvita Stores, Wholefoods, and selected John Lewis stores, or online at
