How did you get started in the beauty industry?
I was 10 years old and always fascinated with my mother’s beauty products opening them up and testing them out, I was always getting into trouble for finishing off her skincare. But the main turning point for me was my family members opening a store in Oxford Street. I was 16 and picked up every skincare that was available to me and starting speaking to customers helping them know the correct way to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize and took up a beauty course and soon had my own clients coming to me for an exclusive beauty regime.

Describe the kind of treatments that you offer.
I offer a wide range of bespoke facials and spa body treatments. My treatments are based on using organic, botanical, natural and marine collagen ingredients and I do blend my own scrubs, masks and enzyme peels.

What are the benefits to having regular facials?
It helps to slough off dead skin cells, builds collagen and helps to reduce signs of ageing. A treatment is best every 4 weeks to really see the benefits and get visible results, a good facial can leave your skin glowing and radiant for days, even fine lines can be less prominent.

What are the problems that you encounter the most from your clients?
Ageing, acne and pigmentation.

How do you find products to use in your treatments?
I use to travel a lot to many destinations, picking up tips in different counties that had worked for those women and had been passed down to them through their own family tree. Using dried herbs, flower water, natural oils and homemade pomades, they really do work. You can see how amazing these natural ingredients are as many of these women and their grandmothers have amazing skin and not a wrinkle in sight, this fascinates me.

day-creamWhat products do you consistently use that you know give the best results?
I do blend my own products, but I’ve see this list of skincare help many skin types; Africology, Dr Alkaitis Organic Essential Care, Herb Pharmacy, Anne Marie Borlind, Forest Secrets Serum.

You use organic products and make your own potions as much as possible, can they really work better than chemicals?
Yes they can, you have to persist and if you find the right formula for your skin it can do wonders, no parabens, no chemicals just a great result! I have clients with sensitive skin and cancer who are ill and they know that chemical free products will not affect their skin or medication. You have to do the best for your client and to give them some knowledge of what’s out there and what some of these skincare manufacturers put into their products.

Tell us some natural ingredients that we can use ourselves at home.
Pumpkin pie masque gently exfoliates, conditions and nourishes the skin leaving it radiant.
