Kate Moss

Kate Moss

What do you think about Kate Moss with her shorter hair?
I wouldn’t say that Kate’s hair is short – it’s about shoulder length. Kate has been through so many changes – I think she looks great both short & long and has proved she can pull it all off.

Is there anyone in the public eye you’d like to grab and change the colour of their hair instantly?
I tend to concentrate on the client in front of me. Believe it or not, and despite it being a passion of mine, I don’t go around staring at people’s hair colour until I have to!

Who do you think deserves the title style icon today?
I think the press give away the ‘style icon’ title a little too easily. Some have a natural sense of style & fashion, some are just styled by somebody else, but at the moment people with ‘style’ in my opinion are; Kate Moss, Paloma Faith, Carine Roitfeld (Fashion Editor French Vogue).

You’ve worked with Daniel Craig, he’s a handsome man, who else is hot in the flesh, make us jealous?!
Jake Gyllenhaal (sweet), Colin Farrell (sexy and lovely), Brad Pitt (has it all!)

What are the hair products that you use time and time again?
John Frieda Frizz Ease Serums (always in my bag!), Schwarzopkf Dry Shampoo and John Frieda Luxurious Volume Thickening Blow Dry Lotion.

Can you give us any style tips we can try at home?
Firstly always have a good, powerful hairdryer, section clips and a good round brush. When blow-drying hair, sectioning it off makes it easier and dries the hair by making the blow-dry last longer. Use a combination of dry shampoo & hairspray (John Frieda Luxurious Volume Thickening Hair Spray) at the roots when you want to wear your hair up as it gives a better foundation along with more hold and stability.

Which designers do you love to work with – the ones where you lust over the clothes the most?
Lanvin, Christian Louboutin, Stella McCartney, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs

Where do you like to shop yourself?
Some high street shops like KM at Topshop, Zara (depending on the season) Selfridges, Barneys in New York, Fred Sigel in LA.

What’s next for you?
I take each day as it comes, but I’m always on the look out for interesting work. I’ve been on a film for the last five months called ‘The Prince Of Persia’ so I think I’d like to do more fashion and of course my salon work.
