Nanoblur – Our Verdict

The beauty crowd have been buzzing over the last few weeks about the new beauty kid on the block that promises to make you ‘look 10 years younger in 40 seconds’; the nanoblur.

Nanoblur is a face cream that was originally developed to combat the problems that arose with HD camera use (i.e. ALL imperfections get highlighted) by using ‘optical prism technology’ to literally blur out imperfections. It’s said to be able to dramatically improve the appearance of fine lines, crows-feet and enlarged pores when worn over liquid makeup or under powder. It’s no wonder they’re selling at least one every 10 seconds

Our verdict?

Nanoblur is a weird product… It’s a light gel that sucks all the shine out of your face and covers pores. Great if you have oily skin, but if you have mature skin (which tends to be dry) forget about it. It makes skin look incredibly matte and flat. Under the eyes, the drying action can accentuate wrinkles. As for 10 years younger? Only a surgeon can do that.

There have been mixed reviews about this product but some people have found it gives good results and for £19.99, it’s not so expensive that you can’t try it out.
