Whitney Port – Whitney Eve

While it’s clear Whitney Port needed The Hills and The City to launch her clothing line, each season we are reminded that she actually does have real talent!  Every Whitney Eve collection evolves and changes as Port’s own style matures and as she grows into a woman.  It’s also worth noting that Port doesn’t try too hard – her clothes are feminine, modern, and eclectic, but also extremely wearable.  She is always true to herself when designing, which is where many designers start to lose focus.

Lauren Conrad – LC Lauren Conrad (Kohl’s)

As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, Conrad had some fashion and business background when designing her line for Kohl’s.  Though her designs aren’t very original, we can’t imagine a big, inexpensive store like Kohl’s would be open to anything too crazy. Conrad’s clothes appeal to almost any age and can be integrated into anyone’s style – some of the pieces are girly, some are bohemian, and some are simple bascs.  But while there are a lot of cute, stylish pieces, a lot of generic and uninspired pieces seem like they were thrown in to add volume to the collection.

Kardashian Sisters – DASH Boutique

While DASH doesn’t sell Kardashian-designed merchandise, its success is widely attributed to their worldwide fame.  DASH carries quality brands like Whitney Eve, La Rok, Mason, Vix, and Beach Bunny, and has been managed very successfully by Kourtney and Kim Kardashian.  DASH recently opened up a store in Miami, and its flagship store is in the Kardashians’ hometown of Calabasas, California.
