Skin Food by Weleda

As Fashion Week comes to a close, those late nights may have your skin suffering. Luckily, we’ve discovered a skin saviour.

From Weleda’s line of organic bodycare products comes Skin Food, a hand and body crème heralded by catwalk queens Lara Stone, Jessica Stam, and Doutzen Kroes, to name a few.

The nourishing skincare product was requested by veteran supermodel Erin O’Connor for the Model Sanctuary, a refuge where tired models can recover at London Fashion Week, and Adele told Heat Magazine that Skin Food makes her “feel replenished”.

I’m with Adele. After using the crème just once, my hands felt renewed and silky smooth. I used just a small amount, and while it did take some time to soak in, the wait was worth it. The slick sheen disappeared after a few minutes and I was left with velvety smooth skin. As an added plus, Skin Food smells great as it is scented with a delicate orange fragrance.

While Skin Food has long been a backstage beauty secret, it is definitely an everyday essential, and the smart, green packaging makes it easy to find in your purse.

Weleda’s Skin Food is available for £4.95 for 30 ml and £8.95 for 75 ml. Pick it up in stores at Boots or online at the Weleda website.
