Prepare to see double as London gets a little gift from Hong Kong in a 2-in-1 treat. Aqua restaurant, two fabulous restaurants in one is nothing short of lavish and luxurious. On top of the former Dickins & Jones at 30 Argyll Street it’s split into Aqua Nueva, a tapas bar with a specialty in Iberian beef tenderloin and Aqua Kyoto, serving Japanese cuisine with sushi and a sumibiyaki charcoal grill.

Enter the restaurant under dark draped curtains and take the elevator to the fifth floor. Once you’ve arrived make sure you stop by the Aqua Spirit Bar for a pre dinner drink and sample their delicious range of cocktails. All that’s left to do now is to make the tricky decision of whether you opt for the Med and a touch of tapas or take a trip to the Orient?

The stunning roof terraces will be mobbed in the summer in both restaurants, with their fabulous views of London, the sushi side has the best ones I think. When choosing from the Japanese menu you have to try the sesame and spinach dish, absolutely melt in the mouth delicious.
