The Chesterfield pub has just opened its doors on Chepstow Road in Notting Hill (below Assaggi’s which one of London’s best local Italians). The pub is a very traditional-looking British pub with wooden floors and comfy sofas to kick back and relax on. However unusually, they have gone against the grain and opted for a pan Asian menu.

Starters include Imperial Shrimp and Mango Rolls, Chilli Chicken and Waterchestnut Gyoza and Salt and Pepper Squid and mains Pi Pa Duck and Flower Buns, Aged Beef Striploin with Chives Mash and Honey Teriyaki and Baked Black Cod with Pickled Kyurizuke and Shiro Miso

It does sound a bit weird but it worked. You get to enjoy all the best bits of a really traditional pub but with some really cool modern Asian food.

Opening Hours: 11am-midnight, seven days a week
