Selfridges Heads To The Country.

Chanel Tattoo Barn

Selfridges has gone all country on us today with the exclusive recreation of Chanel’s famous catwalk barn set in their Beauty Hall.

The barn, that housed Chanel’s Spring/Summer ’10 ready-to-wear collection, has been resurrected to house the Chanel transfer tattoo stations, allowing you to pop down and have your tattoo applied in the original setting of their launch!

David Walker-Smith, Director of Beauty and menswear at Selfridges says; “At Selfridges we love to bring the creations of iconic brands to life in-store. Body art is one of this season’s key trends and the Chanel tattoos are absolutely the accessory of choice!”

The tattoos, launched last month and ranging from flowers to bangles, have been a hit with beauty editors nationwide and even caused a waiting list, so book in early to avoid disappointment. Plus if you fancied adorning your more private areas, there is a closed section so you can Chanel yourself away from the public eye!

A great way to spend a lunch break we think!

Les Trompe L’Oeil de Chanel (The set of 55 individual Chanel Tattoos) are available exclusively from Selfridges from March, 2010. Price: £49.
