Skin Saviour: Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm

At the first sign of a drop in temperature the best thing that you can do for your skin is to protect the most sensitive, fragile and reactive areas. Lips are one of the first to show signs of distress; drying out, chapping and cracking. Which is why, come September, I find myself continuously slicking my lips with a rotation of balms, ointments, conditioners and salves in the quest for the softest, flake free lips come Winter.
I definitely have my favourites. Not just any old moisture booster will do. At any given time you’ll likely find the French-pharmacy must-buy Homeoplasmine – a matte-look Vaseline equivalent, or cult Australian favourites Lanolips and Lucas‘ PawPaw Ointment, the classic little yellow pot of Carmex or the cult all-purpose Elizabeth Arden 8-Hour Cream, within reaching distance.
But then, Omorovicza’s Perfecting Lip Balm dropped on my desk. And it is everything I have ever wanted from a lip balm. Gorgeously gooey, but not overly shiny. Rose-tinted without imparting any true colour. Deeply nourishing with Shea butter and not a hint of sickly sweet gourmand scent. It plumps, primes and smoothes thanks to Hyaluronic filling spheres. Omega 9 ceramides work to hydrating and moisturise, whilst also creating a flawless and lasting base for any colour lipsticks or lacquers that you may want to slather over the top. Oh and did I mention the Eucalyptus extract which gives a super-subtle but lip-tingling sensation!
So forget owning a cornucopia of lip-protecting products, this is quite simply all you need in your lip-protecting arsenal.
