Supernatural Skin Saviour

I am in love with Antipodes Scientific Organic Beauty skincare. It’s organic, super effective, vegetarian approved, and most of all, transforming.

Antipodes Apostle Skin Brightening Serum

The Apostle skin brightening and tone correcting serum was more effective for removing brown sunspots from my skin than the smooth beam laser. The laser was expensive, terrifying and it hurt. Really hurt. So much so that the doctor said my screams had terrified the other patients.

I was wondering if she’d ever let me back and now I don’t have to. The Apostle has won various awards. I never take awards seriously but I take this seriously.

Antipodes Immortal SPF15

All the Antipodes products are made without synthetics or preservatives, all from New Zealand plants that have been cultivated sustainably. And your skin feels the power of the natural plant extracts.

I was keen to try other products in the range. I am liking Immortal, a natural sun protection/face and body moisturiser. It defends against sun damage, minimises pigmentation and locks in moisture. It’s my new daily friend.

Antipodes Savious Skin Balm

The Saviour Skin Balm is my new miracle discovery. It comes in a tin within a golden box that tells me it is scientifically shown to stimulate synthesis of collagen in human skin cells by more than 95 per cent.  It’s an everything balm and totally effective.

It smells slightly of tea tree from which is made along with Vinanza grape.

When I saw ‘power packed with antibacterial and antifungal healing properties of totara [New Zealand yew tree] and Australian tea tree and antioxidant rich Vinanza grape’ I decided to put it to some rigorous testing.  Without going into details of the skin complaint, I’ll spare you, and just say it was totally restorative.

I applied it to my eczema. It soothed and erased. It also works for any dry cracked skin and chapped lips.

While walking in the midsummer heat in high shoes my left foot became outrageously blistered and in excruciating pain. I had no antiseptic cream but I applied the Saviour Skin Balm and my distress was immediately healed. It is indeed a saviour.

It also helps ease sunburn and relieves sore muscles. I also took it on a flight with me and permanently reapplied so that when I arrived in LA after an 11-hour flight my skin did not look grey.

I’ve used over the years various in-flight creams specifically designed to hydrate and moisturise when the plane’s recycled air is drying out your skin. This balm is super effective and nurturing.

Antipodes range feels extremely high end yet it is priced very reasonably. No one can be without this skin balm.

Antipodes Apostle Skin Brightening Serum, £34.10, Immortal, £28.50 and Saviour Skin Balm, £28.99 available at Selfridges, Harrods and WholeFoods,
