Swap Chaos For Calm
Mimi ON Feb 24, 2011 AT 3:13 pm
Fashion Week is over, and apart from Berocca on tap, the only way I got through it was by sheer will power ’til my last reserves of stamina had gone! It was high octane, high drama and high horses all the way through as the fash pack fought for the front row and jostled for interviews and while both heels and tempers snapped. So, my most calming treats had to be on hand to avoid the diva dramas.
Thalgo Serenity Tea
This is bliss for the super-stressed; a blend of green algae (don’t worry – you can’t taste it!) to revitalise and de-stress, Carpentras lime flower to relax and calm the body, Seville orange extracts for sedative properties and Verbena to combat digestive problems and anxiety. It’s so good, it should be mandatory for fashion week.

Michelline Arcier Equilibre Bath Oil
At the end of a long day, when nerves are frazzled and fashion feels fatal, this gorgeous bath oil is like a long, comforting hug. Using petit grain, lavender and geranium to soothe away tension and stress, it’s a potent emotional rejuvenator that lets you sleep like a baby.

Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Water
Originally made for Queen Elizabeth of Hungary (in the 14th Century!), this boosting mist is good for the complexion as well as the senses. With rosemary, pineapple, sage, rose and orange blossom water, and the protein and vitamin blend of Pannon water, one spritz of this gorgeous revitalizer is a handbag essential for the rushed as a stylish wake-up call at any hour of the day.
