Soap & Glory Wash Your Hands Of It

Soap & Glory Wash Your Hands Of It

Fancy hand-wash is the ultimate sign of a quality rest-room, and we’ve no desire to freshen up in anything less. While our favourite ladies room will forever remain Claridges for its ever-full sinks of clean, freshly run, warm water and crisp cotton hand-towels, we’re sharpening up the B&TD loos with bottles of the very best washes. Any minute now, we’ll be charging a penny.

Soap & Glory Wash Your Hands Of It
Shea butter and silk make this delicately fragranced formula perfect for drier skins. Built-in skin conditioners ensure that hands are left soft, supple and moisturized, while the lush and delicate lime blossom fragrance gives a refreshing burst of citrus-based scent. £4.50, www.boots.com

Tesco Ginger, Vanilla & Pink Pepper Handwash
Given that we’d far rather be spending our credit crunched cash on shoes not sundries, we’re very impressed with this supermarket own label handwash. While it’s more vanilla than ginger and pepper, the fragrance is pretty, light and refreshing, making it our favourite bargain buy. £2.99, Tesco Stores.

Roger et Gallet Liquid Soap in Blue Lotus
Sparkling citrus notes mingle with exotic blue lotus accents to make a fresh, smooth and invigorating aroma. Bottom notes of wood take away any over-sweetness. Soap is something we have to admit that the French do beautifully, and this is no disappointment. We’ll definitely be making over frequent trips to powder our noses. £11.50, www.houseoffraser
